Garlands is a small family-based wine located in the heart of the cool-climate Great Southern region of Western Australia and just outside the township of Mount Barker.

Winemaker Michael Garland produced his first vintage of Garland’s signature cabernet franc in 1996. James Halliday gave the 2001 Garlands Saros 93 points in the Australian Wine Companion 2004: "Medium but bright purple-red; rich, ripe, complex blackberry/blackcurrant/ cassis fruit aromas are followed by a fruit driven palate, with mouthfilling blackcurrant/cassis fruit and fine tannins. A blend of 88% Cabernet Franc and 12% Cabernet. Sauvignon, an outstanding example of Cabernet Franc. Best Drinking 2005-2011.
