At a recent tasting of wines from the pirvate cellar of Heritage Fine Wines (Jun 2006) Huon Hooke, the highly respected wine critic for the Sydney Morning Herald, singled out the Mouthpiece Paul Lindner Barossa Shiraz 2002 as one the highlights, remarking that he would bid up to $40 per bottle.

Paul Lindner is the winemaker at Langmeil, in one of the prettiest corners of South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Langmeil is growing in stature and reputation as the quality of its wines becomes more widely known and recognised.

He has unrivalled access to fruit of outstanding quality from all over the Barossa Valley through business and family connections with some of the district’s longest-established grape-growing families.
