Robert Parker described the Three Rivers Shiraz 1995 as "may be the great Shiraz produced in Australia". The accolades have kept flowing for this tiny winery (now called Chris Ringland) that makes approximately 100 cases per year.

Winemaker Chris Ringland, who was co-winemaker at Rockford, sources his fruit from 100 year old dry grown vines from his vineyard on the edge of the Barossa Valley. The low-yielding vines (one tonne of fruit per acre) produce tremendously concentrated, lush ripe fruit giving the wines their opulence and concentrated flavour.

The hand-made wines typically mature for more than 40 months in new French oak hogsheads.
