Brand's of Coonawarra is steeped in history owning some of the regions oldest vines which were part of the original Coonawarra fruit colony planted by Captan Stentiford in 1896. Fruit from these 100+ year old vines is still used to produce the Stentifords Reserve Old Vine Shiraz, and the plantings are considered to be some of the best in this famed region. Only 500 cases each of the Stentifords Reserve Old Vine Shiraz and the Brand's Patron's Reserve Cabernet Shiraz Merlot - named after Eric Brand,  was was 'The first patron of Coonawarra' - are made each year.

Owned by McWilliam's since 1990, the wines are still made by members of the Brand family, and bear the hallmark of the family's stong commitment to exceptional quality.
