Opened 15th August 2014, wine is very much alive & well. Several hours in the decanter couldn't tame this beast which remains dominant in alcohol heat over fruit or structure. Great aroma but impenetrable inkiness makes it stick like an old port, only with a menthol element to clear the sinuses. Doubles as a medicinal remedy. If you like them huge you'll love it.
