You may notice some unusually low prices or see the same wine listed at different prices. That's because sellers control their own listing prices. Sometimes they just want a quick sale so be on the lookout for bargains!

Orders received by 2pm on a business day are dispatched for next-day delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and many other metro areas in between...or just a day or two extra for most other post-codes Australia-wide. Quality Control & Wine Condition

In general, unless a defect is noted, wines listed are in excellent general condition and appearance

Cellarit inspects all wine upon arrival into our wine storage facility. Unless otherwise noted, all wines listed are in excellent general condition, typical of a wine from that producer and vintage. This means good fill levels, no evidence of leakage or heat damage and good labels and capsules but it doesn't mean each bottle is perfect as there may be minor cosmetic imperfections and "wear and tear" associated with normal shipping, cellaring, handling or age. Older vintages can also be expected to have lower fill levels than current vintages of the same wine.

The Cellarit wine list is 100% "live" so if a wine's listed it's available

Wine quantities are updated instantly after each sale. When a wine is sold-out it instantly disappears from the list. Just say "no" to annoying "sold-out" notifications from now on! Simply choose a wine category tab (Penfolds Grange, Red, White, Champagne, etc.) to find what you're looking for. Or, click on 'Additional Search Options' to quickly find a specific winery, region or vintage. You can sort the list easily by clicking the top of any column.

If you're a Cellarit wine storage customer just click on the 'price/quantity' icon next to your wine to list it for sale. From that moment it's instantly available and advertised to our regular buyers plus a world-wide audience via several wine-specific search engines. If your wine isn't in Cellarit wine storage, we'll collect and transport it at a super-low rate from anywhere in Australia. Transit insurance is extra at 1% of value and normal wine storage fees apply. You'll receive a notification email / receipt report and then your can list your wine for sale. Cellarit sells wine on consignment, similar to an auction house

We make every effort to inspect the condition of the bottles and to make a note if there are significant defects. However, we cannot guarantee what's inside the bottle. Cellarit does not replace or refund corked or otherwise "faulty" bottles. By way of explanation, unlike traditional retailers Cellarit can't return bottles to a wholesaler for a refund. It's not a situation we're happy about but any other policy for us is economic suicide. Transit insurance is included in the delivery price of your order and covers breakage, no-delivery, theft and other perils during transit but not heat damage (we recommend keeping your wine in storage with Cellarit until the summer months have passed).

GST Info & Tax Rebates When Wine Is Taken Out of Australia

All wines and fees are inclusive of GST and you pay nothing on top

Unlike wine auctions where only some lots are inclusive of GST, a Cellarit tax invoice allows business buyers or those leaving Australia with their wine to receive a tax credit and/or a full tax rebate under the Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS). Even better, the TRS rebate is available to visitors and Australians alike. We apologise that Cellarit does not provide tax rebates for wine shipped to customers outside of Australia. Please note that your tax invoice is emailed to you and not packed with your wine.
