90 Points James Halliday
Dense, inky red-purple; rich, ripe, powerful plum, blackberry and prune fruit is coupled with masses of American oak on the bouquet. The palate is no less rich and concentrated, with plum and blackberry fruit, and again, lots of American oak. Quite similar to the Leasingham Bin 61, and similarly needs time, and, some would argue, less oak. Drink to 2014.
