1995 was the Centenary Vintage. Good depth of colour and in good condition, but the wine is a bit gumleafy and camphor-like, and shows obvious acid on the palate. Probably adjusted. It's a rather old-fashioned Aussie red in both respects.

Dark, deep purple-red; a concentrated, dense and powerful bouquet with brooding, dark fruits leads to a massively concentrated palate with a complex array of fruit flavours in the mint/blackberry/briar spectrum, finishing with persistent tannins. Notwithstanding all the power and concentration, is immaculately balanced. Drink to 2025.
