Winery:Parker Coonawarra Estate
Wine Name:Terra Rossa 1st Growth
James Halliday Rating:94
94 Points James Halliday
Cedar and earth aromas showing the first sign of developing; an austere style, with lurking tannins, but in the end all comes together very well. For classicists. Drink to 2020.

91.5 Points Robert Parker
The 2004 Terra Rossa First Growth (a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) possesses a deep ruby/purple hue, good structure, and a personality reminiscent of an Australian version of the famous Pauillac, Lynch Bages. Meaty, cassis, and smoky notes emerge from this opulent, rich, full-bodied, beautifully made red. It should drink well for 10-15 years.
