96 Points James Halliday
Full red-purple; a spotlessly clean bouquet with opulent dark cherry fruit, masses of sweet vanillin oak and yet is regional. The palate provides more of the same; immensely powerful but immaculately crafted with dark plum, some chocolate and a hint of vanillin oak, finishing with powerful tannins. Drink to 2010.
