93 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a generous, softly sweet and fragrant bouquet with mulberry/plum fruit and soft vanilla oak leads on to a rich, rounded and mouthfilling palate. There is a seamless integration of ripe mulberry-accented fruit and creamy vanillin American oak. The best of the Lindemans trio from this vintage. Drink to 2004.

"Jazzy stuff, dazzling with its juicy blackberry, spice and vanilla flavors, almost breathtaking for its purity of fruit and long, surprisingly harmonious finish. Appealing now, but just wait until 2002 to 2004. 587 cases made. –HS"
