90 Points Robert Parker
An excellent value, this serious, opaque purple-colored Shiraz from Coonawarra (2000 was a better vintage than 2001 in this region) hides its 15.5% alcohol beneath lavish quantities of blackberry liqueur-like fruit, camphor, tar, and earth notes. Full-bodied, ripe, concentrated, and well-delineated, it will drink well for 7-8 years.

94 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet is crammed with complex fruit and oak swelling, into dark plum, licorice and vanilla on the palate, finishing with plentiful, ripe tannins. A rich, traditional style. Gold medal Limestone Coast Wine Show 2002. Drink to 2014.
