95 Points James Halliday
Strong purple-red; fine blackcurrant/cassis fruit with subtle oak on the bouquet is followed by a palate with excellent balance and focus, centred on cassis/blackberry fruit supported by ripe tannins and restrained but positive oak. A wine of the highest quality, although I don't think the label works or does justice to the wine. Multiple trophy winner, including Tucker Seabrook Caon Trophy. Drink to 2023.
