Deep red purple; dark. Rich, concentrated blackberry and mint nose, clean and fruit-driven with power and nicely simpatico oak. Possibly some American oak in the mix? It is very lifted. Smooth, savoury, with dominant powdery tannins. Cassis, blueberry fruit-driven and smooth. Lacks classic style but is very pleasant indeed.
