87 Points Robert Parker
The NV Brut Blason Rose is a fairly straightforward, fruity rose built on a solid core of fruit. With a little more complexity and generosity on the palate, it could very well merit a higher score. This is Lot L3300755311, no disgorgement date provided. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.

The sublime 2002 and 2004 were tough acts to follow, and here comes the vintage to drink while they both wait in the wings. The warm-season 2006 is already deeper in hue, loaded with a fanfare unexpected for Pol Roger: tropical fruits, passionfruit, red apples and succulent nectarines, becoming vanilla cream and almond brioche. The precision of the house comes to the rescue in prominent chalk mineral structure and persistent lemony acidity.
