I also took a look at the 2007 Diana Madeline, a vintage blended of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, matured like the 2008, though this one achieved 13.8% alcohol (the label reads 14%). Giving a very deep garnet-purple color, it has complex, moderately intense aromas of warm blackberry, black olive, hung meat, tree bark and underbrush plus supporting notes of dark chocolate and Sichuan pepper. This is a more structured vintage possessing a great backbone of high acidity and medium to firm fine tannins with a bit of chew in the long finish. Drink it 2012 to 2022+.

97 Points James Halliday
This is as close to perfection as one can imagine in terms of structure, texture and its complex fruit flavours. Great now, greater still in another 10 years, and who knows how long thereafter. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot. Drink to 2032.
