94 Points Robert Parker
The 2008 Aeolia Roussanne was aged predominantly in seasoned French oak for 9 months. Medium gold-colored, it reveals a fragrant perfume of balsam wood, smoke, candle wax, honeysuckle, peach, and melon. Already complex in the mouth, this richly fruited dry effort is impeccably balanced, lengthy, and a perfect match for rich seafood courses. I also had a chance to retaste the 2006 Estate Vineyard Chardonnay which I rated 96 in Issue 181. It was just as good as I reported earlier.
