93 Points Robert Parker
The opaque purple-colored 1999 Portsorts offers up scents of blackberry liqueur, licorice, and camphor. Dense, full-bodied, and unctuously-textured, with a floral component that emerges as the wine sits in the glass. Beautifully integrated alcohol and a seamless personality suggest this down-under port look-alike will drink well young, yet evolve for 20 years.
