95 Points James Halliday
Deep purple-crimson; if you are looking for a full-bodied Barossa shiraz, this is for you. There are mountains of mouth-coating black fruits plus the contribution of two-and-a-half years in mainly French oak which has helped soften the still-sufficient tannins. There are no signs of dead fruit, nor heat from the alcohol. Will improve further with decades in bottle. Drink to 2040.
