91 Points Vivino
The most bewildering, beguiling wine of the evening. Tasted blind...after a few sniffs and a sip, I guessed a young pinot noir made in Bourgogne style. With airtime, it opened up peppery aromas mingling with its earthy, red cherry fruits, plums and sweet spices. At this point, I knew this was a Pinot with a twist and funk. Not a basic PN from Mornington or Central Otago.
What a stunning, brazen blend this is: Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc!!!
A true Aussie original and instant icon! Bravo!
