90 Points Robert Parker
With a very deep garnet color, the 2006 Shiraz is a little less ripe giving earthier, meatier, tar, bacon and mushroom aromas over the core of warm cassis and dried Provence herbs. The palate is less generous with high acid and firm fine tannins going long in the finish. Drinking now, this wine should keep through 2016.
