87 Points Robert Parker
The 2005 Heytesbury is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Shiraz aged in barrel for 20 months. Opaque purple-colored, the nose reveals a green, herbal note as well as plenty of cassis and blackberry. On the palate it exhibits a racy, lean, slightly austere style with enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. Drink it from 2010 to 2018.

95 Points James Halliday
Tightly focused and structured; particularly fine but persistent tannins add much to the texture; blackcurrant and touches of French oak complete the picture of a high quality wine. Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz. High quality cork. Drink to 2020.
