Deep red/purple colour; youthful. Roasted meats, charcuterie and smokehouse aromas, some spiciness too, the palate full-bodied and dense, its chewy tannins slightly out-balancing the fruit flavour. A dense, full-bodied, concentrated and firm style of shiraz, which is worth cellaring further. Excellent traditional style shiraz. It needs food.
