89 Points James Halliday
A 54/46% blend of Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc and McLaren Vale chenin blanc, crushed and pressed separately, settled and co-fermented in used French hogsheads, remaining on yeast lees for 4 months. The colour has a faint bronze tint; this apart, I'm not sure I get the rationale for the blend, and in particular the reason for sauvignon blanc in a blend intended for prolonged cellaring. Too many mixed messages. Drink to 2026.
