86 Points Robert Parker
Pale to medium deep ruby color, the 2009 Runholder Pinot Noir shows moderately intense aromas of kirsch, warm cranberries and pomegranate juice, with an undercurrent of baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, with a firm acid backbone cutting through ripe berry flavors, it has a low to medium level of slightly astringent tannins, and finishes long with a slight bitter note. Drinking now, it should keep to 2014.
