92 Points Robert Parker
There will be sufficient quantities available of the profound 1999 Cote Rotie, which boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as an explosive bouquet of peach jam, creme de cassis, smoke, minerals, and licorice. It is full-bodied, opulent, and a total hedonistic turn-on. No doubt there is some tannin underlying the wealth of fruit and flesh, but this gorgeous offering is impossible to resist. It should drink well for 12-15 years. Bravo!
