90 Points Robert Parker
Burgaud's outstanding 1991 Cote Rotie is a dense, opaque black/purple-colored wine with a powerful nose of black fruits, herbs, and flowers. Full-bodied with super extraction, it offers a rich, authoritative, well-structured taste, and a whoppingly long, dramatic finish. With moderate tannin and terrific concentration, it should be drinkable by the mid-nineties and last for 15 years. Impressive!
