90 Points Robert Parker
Coming from an unusual vintage with a really cold spring, poor fruit set and poor yields, the 2002 Pinot Noir has a mature nose that shows a lovely stewed tea and dried herb character laced with menthol, kirsch and a touch of sandalwood. Crisp, refreshing, and exuding tons of life, the multilayered flavors are framed by medium levels of grainy tannins through the long and spicy finish.

96 Points James Halliday
Spotless, pristine varietal character; a long, lingering and intense palate; a perfect match of red fruits, spices, oak and finest tannins. Drink to 2009.
