95 Points Robert Parker
Very deep purple-black in color, the 2010 Shiraz The Beast opens with notes of warm, black fruit preserves, blackberry tart, raw meat and licorice aside nuances of dark chocolate, mincemeat, dried berries and plum pudding. Very big, full and concentrated, the voluptuous palate is anchored by firm, chunky tannins and enlivened by medium to high acid through the long, savory finish. Drink it from 2014 to 2025+.
