89 Points Robert Parker
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the 2006 Stoney Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 33 months in French oak. Deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, it has an earthy / meaty character over a core of blackberry, creme de cassis, coffee, pencil lead and a hint of dried mint. Medium to full-bodied in the mouth, the ample flesh is well-supported by crisp acid and a medium level of grainy tannins, finishing long and savory. Drink it now to 2016+.
