Deep, dark red colour, with a brick edge and little purple tint. Strong lactic and vanilla, chocolate aromas from oak and possible malolactic issues. The palate is rich and full, smooth and broad, with lots of ripe tannin and earthy grip. The wine is not elegant but broad and bold.
