Torbreck Neck Oil Shiraz Grenache 2002

There are some 'wow' elements to this wine

There are some 'wow' elements to this wine, but the whole package seems somewhat out of balance. The powerful dark fruits and chewy tannins are reminiscent of the Barossa's best offerings but the finish is a touch obtuse. A rich, fruit drive style that was not meant to last forever but a decent value glimpse at what Barossa can offer.
