This 2017 Malbec is presented with an intense and vibrant violet colour. Complex nose, rich and concentrated floral aromas that are mixed with cherry, blackberry and cassis. The presence of black pepper and vanilla accompanies and increases its complexity. Live and ripe on the palate, with juicy red fruits that are complemented with hints of smoke. Its structured tannins of unconventional texture make it feel soft and intense at the same time. The mineral finish followed by tobacco gives it a silky persistence, affirming its origin from Barrancas, Maipu.

“Expressive aromas of spice box, floral notes, cherry cola, and cassis. Sweetly-fruited, concentrated, and smooth-textured, this lengthy effort lacks only complexity, but at this price, who’s complaining? Drink this excellent value over the next 3-4 years.
