89 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; rich, ripe, sweet and concentrated chocolate and vanilla aromas of the bouquet are followed by a concentrated, almost essencey choc-mint, cherry and vanilla-flavoured palate. Very good in its style context but, as ever, not a hint of pepper. Drink to 2010.

RP 88 points: Sweet American oak combined with jammy, peppery, blackberry fruit results in an attractive introduction to this medium to full-bodied Shiraz. While not a blockbuster, it is a flavorful, concentrated offering to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.
