Why is there more than one price?
RP 91 points: The 2002 Mentor spent 18 months in new French oak. It is a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 10% Shiraz, and 8% Malbec sourced from several of the prime terroirs in the Barossa. Purple/black in color, it has a fragrant bouquet of toasty oak, scorched earth, pencil lead, violets, black currants, and blackberry. Medium-bodied, elegant yet full-flavored, it has a supple texture, a soft blanket of tannins, ample ripe fruit, and several years of additional aging potential. Drink this tasty effort over the next 8-10 years.
