In our experience, it's mainly because they have too much wine. Or their palate changes. Or their children aren't interested in inheriting the wine (it happens!).
'My Cellar' is a handy tool that keeps track of your wine purchases. Use this free wine cellar software anytime and add bottles from your own cellar to maintain an online inventory of all your wine.
Cellarit tax invoices allow business buyers or those leaving Australia with their wine to receive a tax credit or a full tax rebate under the Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS). Please note that your tax invoice is emailed to you and not packed with your wine.
Transit insurance is included in the delivery fee. It covers breakage, non-delivery and other perils but not heat damage (we recommend leaving your wine in storage with us during hot weather). Cellarit sells wine "as-is" on consignment, similar to an auction. Although we make every effort to note significant external defects we can't guarantee what's inside the bottle or provide returns or refunds to buyers.
We'll collect and transport your wine from anywhere in Australia and we'll even pay the transport for any amount above the first 5 dozen. Transit insurance is extra at 1% of value. You'll receive a notification email / receipt report and then your can list your wine for sale. Our How to Sell Wine section has all the details.

No critic reviews Rating:
» Sometimes the same vintage of a wine is listed at different prices. That's because some vendors are more aggressive and want a quick sale. We recommend buying the bottle with the best price, it's the same as the other bottles unless there's a condition note indicating otherwise.
»Other times there's a reason for different prices for the same wine and vintage. For example, bottles with defects such as a torn label or low ullage level generally sell for a discount vs. wine with no defects.
Figjam 22-Sep-2011 20:56Malbec Merlot - All the plushness of a french merlot with a minerally acidity adding a savoury bite and a dry finish. While very different to most aussie wines, it does pack an Aussie like punch for 13% alv while remaining well balanced. At around $20 I can't fault the value. Would be a perfect match with aged cheese.
