90 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a solid bouquet with plenty of plummy/minty fruit, though lacking some of the sparkle and spice of prior years. Came up extremely well on the palate, with rich dark cherry, plum and mint fruit flavours, subtle oak and soft but persistent tannins. Drink to 2005.
