Huon Hooke
Deepish red colour, faintly purple tinges. Complex spicy, earthy, sousbois and restrained cherry-like aromas. Lovely scents and flavours, delicious wine. Soft and fleshy, gentle and balanced, and very good length. Gorgeous flavour, lovely balance between the savoury and foresty characters and the cherry-like primary fruit nuances. Long, warm finish. Satisfying wine.

Clear purple-red; an immediately attractive cherry and plum bouquet, then a positively silky palate, with the delicious fruit of the bouquet, the tannins superfine, the finish long and harmonious. Drink to 2020.
