» Wine Buyer Benefits: Free Delivery or Discounted Wine Storage

When you buy wine for delivery, we reward you with 200 loyalty points plus up to a $2.00 delivery credit for every $100 spent depending on your tier level. When you have enough delivery credits, you automatically receive a free delivery. Or, if you place your purchase into storage, you'll automatically receive 1 Month of free wine storage on the bottles you purchased plus 1-2% of the value of your purchase as a credit to your wine storage account depending on your tier level.

When you sell wine, we reward you with 200 loyalty points for every $100 sold plus 1-2% of the sale price in credits towards your storage account depending on your tier level. So it's possible to pay little or no storage fees while selling your wine! (more about selling wine).

Bonus: Earn a 10% Sell, Swap & Save Discount when you sell wine! It's a great way to refresh or diversify your cellar by securing super bargains.

When you use your sales proceeds to buy wine:

For every $100 of wine sold you can buy $100 of wine for just $90 plus you earn up to 4% additional storage credits (up the 2% each for buying wine and selling wine depending on your tier level).

Total cost to swap wines = just 15%-17%*. You can't swap wine at a lower total commission anywhere else!

Here's an example:

• You sell $100 worth of wine
• You get an instant account credit of $71 net of commissions
• plus a vendor storage credit between 1% and 2% of the sale price
• Buy wine with your instant credits and discounts
• plus a buyer storage credit between 1% and 2% of the sale price)
• You get an instant 10% discount towards purchases

Questions and Answers:

• How do I register for the loyalty program?

  Enrolment in the Loyalty Program is automatic when you register with Cellarit. Membership is free and there are no loyalty program annual fees.

• What makes the Cellarit loyalty program different?

  The Loyalty Program not only allows you to accumulate points for spending money but also for supporting the site in other ways. Examples include buying wine, selling wine, swapping wine and telling your friends about Cellarit or placing wine into Wine Storage. Also, your points and credits never expire so that, over time, you can earn ever-increasing credits and benefits. This feature rewards our long-term customers.

• How do I earn loyalty points and what can I do with them?

  Just about everything you do on the Cellarit site earns points including buying wine, selling wine, swapping wine, placing wine into storage and referring friend (but you must use this refer a friend link). You can't actually "do" anything with your points, their purpose is to determine your tier level. The more points you earn the higher your tier level and the more significant your benefits.

• What's a loyalty tier level?

  Tier levels are named after bottle sizes and your loyalty points are used to determine which tier level you belong to. The more points, the higher the tier level. Your tier level determines the amount of credits you receive for buying, selling or swapping wine.

• What are credits and how do I get them and use them?

  Credits are like money and each credit is worth $1 towards wine delivery or wine storage. Depending on your tier level, each dollar you spend buying, selling or swapping wine earns you up to 2 credits (e.g., $2.00 of value). Your credits are used automatically, you don't need to do a thing. When you have enough credits from buying wine for delivery you'll receive a free delivery. Or, if you place your wine purchase into wine storage your credits will go towards your storage invoice. Similarly, if you sell wine your credits go towards your storage invoice so it's possible to earn free storage just by selling wine. When a credit is used we deduct it from your account until your balance is used up. Any unused credits stay in your account and they never expire.

• It sounds complicated, how do I know it's working properly?
  We designed the Loyalty Program to reward long-term relationships with our customers. A great deal of effort has gone into its design to make the process as user-friendly as possible. Every aspect of the program is automated and tracked and recorded by our computers behind the scenes. You'll always know where you stand in the program by referring to your points total in the Loyalty Program. You'll also have an itemised list that shows how your points and credits were earned.
• How do I know how many points I've earned and the tier level I'm in

  After sign in, just click here to see your tier level and a summary of your points and credits totals. You will see a summary of your point total and your loyalty tier. In addition, a detailed listing of your point earning activity is provided.

• Will the points for each activity or the amount of points for each tier change?

  We intend to keep the Loyalty Program as consistent as possible to ensure that it rewards our long-term customers. As we gain experience with how customers use the Cellarit site and what's valuable to them, we may make changes. We'll explain any changes fully and give customers advance notice before we implement them.
