Intense and deep ruby core with a deep purple rim. Dark berries, violets and wakame aromatics. The palate is loaded with just-crushed mulberries, dried herbs and ironstone. Very complex from start to a very long finish. Definitely a full-bodied wine, but the fine tannins and fine acidity provides a beguiling lightness throughout.
