Deep red colour with traces of brick and purple. The bouquet is complex and savoury, multi-faceted and laced with high notes of crushed green leaves. Hints of tomato bush. The wine is very intense and elegantly structured. It has concentration but is not a blockbuster. There's focused intensity and precision, the tannins backing up with a velvety sheen that adds texture and structure without too-obvious grip.
