Exotic and lifted aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, sap, spice, underbrush, white pepper, violets and sarsaparilla. Structured, layered and multi-faceted, there's lashings of dark cherry and blue fruits, partnering very nicely with nutmeg oak and sap. There are shapely, caressing tannins and crunchy acidity. A youthful, layered and very complete pinot noir, just beginning its journey.

The previous low-yielding vintage saw The Acre and Half Acre single-site pinots blended into one wine. Welcome back. A refined and composed outcome with such suppleness across the fuller-bodied palate. Dark cherries, blood orange and zest, a whiff of pine needles and woodsy spices. While there’s no shortage of acidity, the palate feels almost gentle and soft with stretchy tannins. A lovely drink. Drink to 2025.
