Fruit from 1965 plantings on the Eperosa Magnolia Road block in Vine Vale at the base of the Barossa Range. Super-vibrant magenta in the glass with plush plum, blue and dark berry fruits with an array of exotic spices, citrus blossom, bunchy amaro notes, blueberry pie, licorice, liminal garrigue notes, graphite and dark chocolate dipped cherries. Super glossy and pure fruit and a filigreed palate with tight, fine sandy tannin and plenty of mineral energy finishing firmly structured and draped in plummy fruits. Drink to 2033.
