Medium-deep red with a tinge of purple in the rim; an intriguing mix of spices with herbal and red fruit elements on the nose. Some pepper intertwined with greener and mulberry-like merlot nuances. The wine is intense and elegant in the mouth, with penetrating flavour and a long, evenly modulated carry. In its youth, we can clearly see the various varietal elements of the blend. Lovely to drink now but age will reap rewards. (Shiraz 47%, merlot 34%, petit verdot 19%)
