Medium-deep red-purple colour, bright and youthful looking, which tallies with the bright fruit on the nose—dark cherry, mixed spices, including star anise, a hint of leaf litter, while the flavour is bright, bold and intense, medium-bodied and very long on the finish with fine tannins in excellent harmony. Still quite primary and has a bright future ahead of it.
