95 Points James Halliday
Deep crimson with magenta splashes. Aromas of ripe plum, blackberry jam and black cherry clafoutis along with baking spices, licorice, dark chocolate, crème de cassis and earth. Unctuous and full bodied with an array of ripe black fruits, plenty of spice, tight sandy tannins and an opulent, spicy cassis sheen to the lingering finish. Big and bold for those that seek a classic Barossa style.
