Brilliant ruby red colour of good depth looks promising. This young cabernet's aroma has a core of blackcurrant fruit woven through with plum, mocha, tobacco and herbs. In the mouth it has very fine texture, medium weight, and elegantly restrained yet tangy flavour, finishing with good persistence and solid foundations of tannin. A classically-styled, savoury Yarra cabernet of very fine quality.
