Producer note: Etienne Grivot describes 2005 as "at least as good as 2002 and it may very well be better.
This too is very ripe and distinctly earthy with good spice on the rich, sweet and mouth coating flavors and I especially like the texture of the balance and moderately rustic finish. This is very Nuits but not crude and should repay 6 to 8 years of cellar time. Drink to 2012+.
