A 50/50 blend of Eden Valley and Barossa Valley shiraz with a 5% splash of cabernet sauvignon (Nuriootpa, Flaxman Valley and Moculta) that shows earth, dark plum, blackberry and black cherry tones, along with hints of licorice, mixed spice, meadow herbs, peppercorn, tapenade and crushed rock. There's some grippy, fine-grained tannin beneath all the dark fruit, a bright, briny line of acidity and a sense of earthiness as the wine slowly trails off. Drink from 2025.
