Deep, rich, brick-red colour with distinct tawny edges denoting a fully mature wine. Earth-bound aromas, fresh soil, dried herbs, tobacco and cigarbox traces. Meaty charcuterie elements. There's a distinct touch of cedary oak overlying it all. The wine is full-bodied and rich, mellow and round, supple and mature, with an abundance of very soft, but drying tannins. A very attractive and fully mature old cabernet.
